MRes, BSc

Harry West

Harry is a structural & economic geologist with over a decade of experience in mining and greenfields exploration. He holds an MRes in Geology and BSc in Geology and Geophysics from Macquarie University.

Throughout his career, Harry has worked across a broad range of mineral systems including orogenic and intrusion-related gold, komatiite-hosted nickel, LCT pegmatites, unconformity-related uranium, IOCGs, sedex-style & Pb-Ag-Zn deposits. His passion lies in mapping and modelling the complexities of polydeformed terranes.

Why Linear?

Why Structural Geology?

Structural understanding is often a critical missing piece in exploration and mining projects. More specifically, linear controls remain consistently the most poorly documented and misinterpreted elements, despite their fundamental role in controlling the orientation and geometry of most ore shoots.

Our approach prioritises documenting and interpreting these linear structures as key predictive tools. By integrating structural analysis with geochemistry, geophysics, and petrology, we build a holistic understanding of deposit controls. This multi-disciplinary framework allows us to predict ore shoot continuity, identify extensions, and optimise exploration targeting with greater confidence and accuracy.
